Liège, March 29, 2021. The Board of Directors of Osimis has appointed Cédric Constant as new CEO. "We are delighted to be able to entrust this role to Cédric Constant. He has extensive experience in the healthcare and technology sector", says Jacques Galloy, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Osimis. "After a 3-month strategic diagnostic mission with the team, he will now lead the new developments of Osimis. I would like to take this opportunity to sincerely thank his predecessor Frédéric Lambrechts who has led the adventure since its creation in 2015. He built a great team around the original free and open-source project "Orthanc" led by its designer Sébastien Jodogne. Frédéric remains one of the company's first shareholders and will take on the role of Chief Business Development Officer.
Cédric Constant has more than 15 years of professional experience, mainly in strategy, transformation and product development, mostly in international and high growth environments. He holds an MBA (IESE Business School and Chicago Booth GSB) and a Master of Laws (KULeuven).
"I am very happy to take up this challenge and look forward to continuing to work with the team", explains Cédric Constant. "Osimis has developed an outstanding reputation in the field of medical image transfer and processing technologies. I am impressed that Osimis is known worldwide for the quality of its technologies, notably through the Orthanc project. It must now accelerate its development in certain strategic areas, in particular the integration of artificial intelligence solutions into radiology workflows. Our ambition is to develop into a reference player in a market that is experiencing a real explosion in the quantity of medical images, and in this way contribute to improving the quality and efficiency of healthcare."
Frédéric Lambrechts, co-founder, ex-CEO and new Chief Business Development Officer, says: “I am very happy to work with Cédric Constant. Together with the team, we will be able to accelerate the scale-up of the company with peace of mind.”
Cédric Constant will start in his new role with immediate effect on Monday 29 March and the transition will be carried out in close cooperation with Frédéric Lambrechts.

A man for whom 24 hours in the day would just be enough, if he could go without sleep. He has a seemingly endless stream of ideas and prides himself on always being on top of everything going on in his company. Frederic used to work as a boring banking consultant until divine inspiration sentenced him to a life of penal servitude to the medical imaging business. But that was just after he learnt the dirty tricks of full stack coding during an excellent 2-month bootcamp.
